Rubik's Tanks


Drive, steer, shoot, and turn your way around the world as you track down your friends in this action-packed game of Rubik's Tanks. The Rubik's Cube is your battle arena as you and your friends face off in a death match. You will need both superior driving skills and Rubik's Cube wits to outmaneuver and defeat your friends. Use the battle arena to your advantage by rotating the cube at your command. But beware! Your friends may be just a single turn away, and they are coming after you too.

Installation Instructions


  • You will need 1-4 wireless XBox wireless controllers and a USB wireless receiver to connect the controllers to your PC.
  • Download the zip file and unzip it with a program such as 7zip.
  • Run CS248VideoGame.exe

About Us


My friend and I made this game for an introductory graphics course at Stanford University during the Autumn quarter of 2008-2009 and were finalists in the video game competition. We had four and a half weeks to implement a game that included some graphics features we learned in class. This was our first project that uses OpenGL extensively.
